Whenever a new user first starts using Word Splash Pro a form will display to help initialize the default settings for that person.
This only displays once per user account setup. The preferences set here can be changed later using the OPTIONS menu.
Spelling Dictionaries
Use the list of available Spelling Dictionaries to mark the spelling dictionaries you would like to have active. Word Splash Pro comes with English dictionaries installed, but there are many languages supported. If you wish to use Word Splash Pro to create puzzles in other languages click the OTHER LANGUAGE setting and when Word Splash Pro asks if you'd like to use the Check for Updates feature select OK. A list of all available dictionaries will be displayed. Mark the ones you want to use and they will be installed and turned on for you.
To change your spelling dictionary settings again later see the Spell Checker Configuration item under the OPTIONS menu.
English Thesaurus
Word Splash Pro comes with English language thesaurus features. Two thesaurus files are available: US and UK. Select here if you would like to use the American spellings thesaurus or the UK spellings thesaurus. This can be changed later under General Options.
The following are a
subset of options that can be set in under General Options. Advanced users
